Construction

Lugged frames: These are made by me and my assistant Zack Reilly (ZR Cycles). Zack helps out with machining work (mitering tubes, tapping BB shells, facing head tubes, etc...) and I do all the setup, brazing, alignment, and finish work.

Each frame ends up being a unique, one of a kind bicycle. Tubing diameter, thickness, and strength are all chosen to fit the rider, type of frame, and intended use. Lugs, BB shells, fork crowns and frame ends are also chosen on a per frame basis and chosen to fit the riders needs and aesthetics.

In the past all my paint has been done by my painter Jason Sanchez in Milwaukee. I have recentley switched to building full time and now build them faster than Jason can paint them. I now work different painters and divide the work based on the paint style (and occasionally turnaround time).

TIG welded frames (a fairly new project here): Since I have the resources available at the shop, why not use them to provide another option?

These are designed by me. Mitering machining and setup is done by my assistant Zack Reilly, welding is done by my shopmate Ahren Rogers of Banjo Bikes (an excellent...dare I say amazing?!) welder. Forks and and frame ends are brazed by me, and I do a final alighment check on all frames.

Paint on the TIG frames is done by Spectrum Powder Works.
